Probably cause the so called eco friendly cost 10 times more then the usual plastic that dont have the sign on them as eco friendly

Great strategy by Samsung. They get good PR for taking eco friendly initiative. Also making sure it's ugly so no one will ever buy them, saving money.

Well i thought there is nothing more horrible than seeing same design on every samsung device past 4-5 years.
Well this is even more ugly than i thought.
But will bet many people will happily buy even its overpriced china made half euro accesory sold with 500% price increase in EU, UK and US.
