chin, 30 Aug 2023Stupid Samsung technician make both series round shape, why don't they make a square
Until very recently I was a long time Apple superfan ... using Apple Watch S3 NIke+ to the recent S8 (every model inbetween).
Of course yet you can see more information on the square scdreen yet now looking at high end watches like the Breitling Navitimer B01 46 in my collection, I can tell you there is some nostalgia and tradition to using a rounded face. The rotating bezel is a LOT more humanly welcoming and much easier to use, and less prone to accidental use (Apple Watch volume changes rolling up your sleeves is TOO common and annoying), than the Apple Watch's digitial crown.
The UI can be further adjusted to match the rounded face.
Furthermore the larger the face of the Galaxy and many other digital smart watches becomes the better they'll look and be seen on the human hand than a square screen getting close to 52mm.
Conversely 47mm Apple S8 Watch doesn't really look like it nor feel like that vs Galaxy Watch 47mm.
Would love to have this version of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic!
Pays homage to the origination of humans discovering meaurement and global travel and navigation.
Some history of this here:

Zendroid, 25 Aug 2023I also don't wear such, but this seems like the best way to travel light on walks.
But... moreWell once long time ago on my 18th birtday i got an 18k gold ring with a black stone worth 300 euros.
Since i hate wasting food and always leave platter empty no matter how full i am after a 10 years ring were too small for my thick fingers.
Glad my stomach works very well so i can eat a lot but not get very fat from it.
Cpt.Power, 25 Aug 2023Well no am no fan of watches dislike any kind of shackles, bracers, necklances etc on ym body... moreI also don't wear such, but this seems like the best way to travel light on walks.
But I do own a 18 karat gold necklace with Thors hammer. I wear it on special occasions.

Could feel like a dog with a collar no thanks.
For date and time i use my phone.
But someone else who likes theses would buy.
Cpt.Power, 25 Aug 2023Well you are right but this is tiny updgrade not good enough for me. If you already have one of the 6 watches, then no. I need one with lte options, so I don't need to bring my phone on photo walks. Just need to find a company that sells it, and have options for watch lte. I have gear s3.
Please make cow edition.
Cpt.Power, 25 Aug 2023Looks like any ordinary watches. Not enough special inside at least i dont see. The protection ring has stars on it, but the rest seems like the same. I won't be using that look anyway. Maybe the ui is tweaked a bit.
Ooo now that's cool, would get that if it's available in UK in 43mm
Looks amazing! Sad it won't be available in Northern Europe. One thing I don't understand though, why is in not available in southern Europe, like in Greece? We are tought that Greece is one of the founder countries of mathematics and sciences alongside other countries in the area. Feels unfair to include some countries, but not all.
Zendroid, 25 Aug 2023Probably only for US/Asia only. Would be nice though. "The Astro Edition watch will be available in multiple MENA markets, including UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Türkiye and Morocco."
No word on the US yet.
but it still has poor battery life I suppose
