Had to realize, the worst part of having a curved screen phone is that it makes having a screen protector feel soo bad.
Good poll this week and I use both.
Next poll should be why you buy $1000 phone when you use it like $100 phone all the time?
I don't use screen protectors. A silicon case is enough to keep my phone safe without visible signs like new over the years.
Screen protector:
For my curved screens - plastic film
For my flat screens - glass, the thinnest
Cases: i always use clear cases preferrably acry or polycarb. The thinnest ones with straps if applicable
I know it breaks easily but im always careful with my things and i only dropped a phone on the beach once with waterproof case at that.
I'm using Nokia 8 Sirocco which I purchased back in December 2018 as my main phone. Since it has curved screen, it was tough for me to apply any screen protection back then. That's why I bought a leather flip case to cover the phone from both rear and front panels, and then replaced it with another one in a couple of years because it was worn out. When my second leather flip case also wore out a year ago, I tried to use a silicon case, but I never really liked the way it felt. Since then, I haven't used cases at all, and my Nokia 8 Sirocco still looks almost like new, with only a couple of barely visible scratches on the panels.
Tried all kinds of screen protector but ended up without one (+ the third party accessories suck for Android). I barely use case or if so, I use the slimmest one. Gotta make use of the curved screen anyway.
I still have to replace my screen protector
Matte screen protector + the case that came in the box (since I can't find a thinner one on the market) or a semi rugged one (it covers the camera bump)
Just a case, no screen protector. I've dropped my phone countless times but nothing happened to the screen. Both my s21+ and 23 ultra have gorilla glass victus so there's no need to 😌
Mine is thin but thick enough to protect it. It has fallen and its not a cheap phone lol in total with care and such it was $1,000 lol. But this case also has a camera cover for the back. But before I used the Samsung purple silicon case But the plastic inside broke from one corner and it felt weird alot to me. So yea. This one has lasted me the most. And screen protector has been replaced once. But it does need another 1.
Case? yes, I'm not that rich. Screen protector? no, then what's the point of that gorilla glass 5,6, victus, voctus+, victus pro max 5G 256Gb, etc?

Exactly why I like the case that came in the box of my phone, it looks and feels exactly the same as the phone's rear panel, so it's protective without losing anything.
Mines a matte screen protector. Kinda kills the display sharpness but at least looks clean.
Btw I don't use a phone case. Seems a bit too bulky since my phone is almost 7 inch lol.
I always put on the case that came in the box with the phone, better safe than sorry. But I've noticed that many phones nowadays don't come with a screen protector, and I don't feel like ordering one (since shipping would practically cost more than the screen protector itself).
