Apple is as a company... literal a-holes that abuse their customers.
May I remind that the very Thunderbolt/USB-C was pushed by Intel and Apple to get rid of legacy ports and charging cables.
Yet the same exact company vehemently resisted USBC adoption to replace Lightening, samd company now limits what should be 100w PD / TB4 cables to some measely, pathetic slowed down standard. So basically this cable is useless besides for charging iPhones and NOT EVEN IPADS as they use more than 20W of power. Class act.
Alast. USB - C on the iPhone.
Let's see how much a "certified" cable will cost.
When it is true (that iPhone 15 family will use USB C for charging), this is the only one feature that Apple is focusing on the 15 series.
this is just apple way for persuading people buying pro/pro-max
for rest of user that wont care much about the specs, they buy/count iphone as branded goods
35 W charging!!!! no way dude that is an earth shattering charging rate?!
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2023How many of you here connect your smartphone to computer on daily basis?? Let me guess, NON. W... moreSame argument for micro SD or removable batteries. How many features do you want to be removed before complaining?
Lol, so much for complaining about limiting innovation when they can't even match 1/20th of the speed in their implementation that usb c can achieve. Bet it won't support stuff like hdmi over usb C too. Iphone's I has switched from meaning innovation and now refers to the common unifying trait of its fanboys, i.e. idiocy
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2023How many of you here connect your smartphone to computer on daily basis?? Let me guess, NON. W... moreIf it is true what you think, why not provide USB 2.0 speeds on pro and pro max models also. After all not lot of people need fast transfer speed as per your opinion, right?
35w for 15 Pro??? I'm shocked they didn't kept 20w 😨
There is rumors cables of android phones will not work on iphones
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2023How many of you here connect your smartphone to computer on daily basis?? Let me guess, NON. W... moreDoes it have to be on a daily basis to get something useful? I love when sheep just love getting scammed.
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2023How many of you here connect your smartphone to computer on daily basis?? Let me guess, NON. W... moreI mean, there are vloggers that would like to be able to transfer their high-quality photos and videos to their computer to edit and send to YouTube. Could you do that from your phone? Technically yes but you get more ease and flexibility on Windows/Mac when editing these things.
Keep in mind also when people want to transfer their old iPhone data to their new one. 2.0 is going to take some time whereas 3.0+ would be a breeze.
How many of you here connect your smartphone to computer on daily basis?? Let me guess, NON. Why would you complain about USB 2.0 speed when you don't even connect your phone to computer to transfer larger files on daily basis 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ what's wrong with you people??
That can't be the cables fault. More like the fake type c port, with lightning support.
So fast USB on Pro models then
Sucks normal are 2.0, but let’s not forget how many companies still think a Android phone with USB 2.0 or lack of DP output is “acceptable”
Very bad move from apple
For the amount they are asking atleast they should give usb 3.0 in all their model
AnonD-1044551, 24 Aug 2023Nope, you should now how these guys behave by now 🙃Fair point.
