Dang it, so marxist totalitarian Apple will not give a 5A cable no more? Someone test that cable with a PD charger that is capable of providing 5A. Apple OEM cables are normallly USb2.0 data transfer speeds (eye diagram is dirty man, super dirty at 5gbps, i forgot at 500mbps) but are e-marked for 5A (maybe 100V, but not advertised, thought I havent check for higher rated voltage). Anyway, cable is longer now? okay, let me know if anyone wants some specific test done on the cable... ill send you my cash app.

W... moreNot on a daily basis, but when I had a MicroSD (512 Gb) on my Note10+, that was used as a USB drive included in my phone and was connected at least 5 times a week. Sometimes way more. It's convenient, easy, secure, fast ... And shame for Apple to cripple USB C with a 2.0 standard, USB C SHOULD be 3.0 at least for uniformity.
Not a right move from Apple and I wonder if they work correctly with another device. I hope so.

Anonymous, 24 Aug 2023There is rumors cables of android phones will not work on iphonesIf Apple is shipping standard cables for the 15 series, that won't be possible. Now, if the Pro variants come with a higher speed version, that will need a different e-marker, so we could see Mfi garbage there again. Additionally, if Crapple wants to live up to that title, they could require a proprietary alt-mode to take advantage of higher speeds. (There's precedent with the Nintendo Switch.) That would mean that you could only use the extra speed with other authorized Apple products.
The EU cannot save Apple from itself fast enough.
