Now this feature is pretty good, I wish like Facebook etc also made this.

That's an improvement, but I wish they would add "Send original photo" option, with the original size and EXIF included with it. So many people do not realize how they ruin photos by sharing them with each other over WhatsApp.

HD video option is already working for me. Unfortunately it's not a massive improvement in quality. You really need to look close to see the difference. It's 2023 and some phones can even record in 8k. 720p barely counts as "HD" anymore, meta.

I noticed that there can be a big difference in the quality of videos sent depending on the brand of phone you use. I don't use Iphones but definitely Iphone videos come through in way better quality and those sent from Android brands. But even with Android brands the quality seems to vary from brand to brand.

i have HD option for video too which sets it to 720p not 1080p as original but still an improvement
