You just don't get it do you, if your whole point is "cheaper tablet with inferior SOC" then the Xiaomi Pad 6 already existed months ago, the MAX variant was supposed to be Xiaomi's flagship tablet and they can't even put a processor that's almost a year old? Get real. That's just giving Samsung free reign in the market for still being the only ones with sd8gen2, and if you can't see that then I don't know what else to say.

Anonymous, 15 Aug 2023There will be new wave of AAA android games that will have 50GB+ each.There is 1TB storage version for 500 USD so is 10 50GB AAA games not enough for you to have still half the storage space empty ? People who buy 128/256GB versions dont have 10 plus 50GB games on there need list when they buy a tablet. Never mind that it be like 10 years before you have more then 10 games that be around 50GB in size.
So far i have not seen games like i have had on PC that were 50-100GB in size as the quality and how wide area you can play in a game. Like think of Battlefield game and it's map size. I cant say GTA4 as that is like 22GB on PC or at least in requirements needs you to have 22GB free space. It's really rare case when large games come out for android when most are like only 2-3GB in size as it should go trough the process PC went like 10GB games where 20GB was something special and with time the size rise. But then again you tablet wont survive you the 10 years anyways as battery die out or what ever.
I had Nexus 7 that lasted 8 years for me while i didnt use it a lot while last year was only charging trough wifi cause the microusb slot was bent and the cable needed to be in special position with pressure to get it charging.
For next 5 years i dont see a reason why cant you have like 100 games installed on the tablet with the 16GB ram and 1TB storage. It's just sad argument that 128/256 isn't enough so you gatekeep tha large market who dont need more then that to have there price even lower. Well 477 euro for 8/256 while 16GB RAM 1TB Storage is 600 euro that still is cheaper then 1200 euro for Samsung Tab S9 Ultra with 12/256GB for just your 8gen2. You can get 2 of these Xiaomi Pad 6 Max with 8+gen1 for the money of 1 brand product with little to no performance difference you can feel in gaming for next 5 to 10 years. It be like 1-2fps difference in heavy loading areas.

Onanymaus, 15 Aug 2023You forgot that the other tablet with Sd8gen2 is much more expensive.That's why having a sd8g2 makes more sense, the tablet will still be cheaper than the Samsung variant (because they're the only brand with one), because it WILL still be cheaper than Samsung for the sole fact of missing stuff like 5G, IP68, and such, why can't you understand this simple thing? Samsung needs direct competition, and if you want a cheaper tablet with a cheaper SOC, there's already a Xiaomi Pad 6 (not MAX) version out there for you, use your head.

Also if your so big of a gamer why not buy a ps2 and play your socks off ?
Like seriously for the amount this tablet cost you should get the console and like 100 games with it
Better yet get like ps3 and loads of games with it.
I have tried emulators on my windows pc and it just really bad and i dont care about them anymore too.
Also there is 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version so go with that if you need to have the tablet full of games and emulators and what ever. Why even talk about 128/256GB versions ? It's so dumb argument when there are options for larger storage versions
People use to use laptops for over 10 years with windows xp and something like 64GB storage and had never any issues or even cared to change the hard drive to larger. Also 120GB and 250GB storage options with windows 10
It's like the mega minimum mega hoarders who need more storage and need microSD cards slots. The majority of the tablet users dont care about it or miss it or even want one as they do backups on there data on external hard drives or just usb sticks and even cloud storage.
