Hi, (Review from Hiawei P30 Pro)
I recently got an update of Harmony OS 4.0.0.121 on my huawei P30 Pro. I was previously using Harmony OS 3.0. My phone with one charge was last for two days and now it's battery is draining rapidly and I need to charge it after every 5 hours. 😭
Is it the end of huawei or harmony OS era. No One from Support helps me out to resolve the issue.

Anonymous, 07 Aug 2023They still have to produce competent SOCs to where they can embed their own future 5G+ modems on.That is clearly the eventual aim. Technically the 5G modem does not have to be on the Soc but that is where it would perform best.

Going purely on my own speculation and lots of rumours, I think we'll see a chip stacked solution (7nm or 14nm) within a new packaging technology.

That should give it decent performance by today's standards and most importantly, be cheaper to produce if yields are high enough.

Like every year, new version of HarmonyOS is announced that feels like it will be a ground breaker but the reality is nobody gives a S$%t, LoL.

Latest IOS is borrowing some features but I'm yet to see how well executed it is. That's just the way it Iis. Broaden your experience first then comment and no, convincing you is not as important as you may think.

Nyarya, 05 Aug 2023In fact, this is Android. Also HarmonyOS and OpenHarmony are two different operating systems j... moreI don't know how you could reach that precise conclusion.

Yes, they are different but they are are also the same.

                            OpenHarmony cannot exist without HarmonyOS.

HarmonyOS is the foundation of OpenHarmony.

One cannot exist without the other.

It is Huawei and HarmonyOS which provides the barebones of OpenHarmony.

It that sense they are the same.

Obviously the full package concept and driving force behind everything is HarmonyOS.

That is why they are marketed differently.

Developers can create new systems off of OpenHarmony. Oniro for example.
