Anonymous, 01 Aug 2023no - autostart and high energy use isn't enough for reliable notifications on Origon OS 3... moreI have no issues like these.

The only thing I find weird is that my secondary phone, the Infinix Note 30 Pro, already has the June security patch, and I just checked on my iQOO 5 Pro today, looked for an update, and there it was, the June security patch update as well. However my much newer vivo X Note is still stuck on the May security patch, it doesn't bother me, but it's certainly strange.

Maybe the CFA array would vary, but its advantage is highly exaggerated in some cases (like yellow being used).

Looks impressive would be fun if Vivo beats in Sales Apple and Samsung.
But first they need to be available in every single country in world even in US.

DarlingYext, 01 Aug 2023"High energy use isn't enough and still needs to be done." I know, that'... moreno - autostart and high energy use isn't enough for reliable notifications on Origon OS 3, running Android 13. For many apps notifications will still not arrive with vivo.pem still installed.

Oh and of course old bugs, or maybe Vivo calls it features that notifications are broken in dark mode (system wide) or vibration only mode (no matter what else)... That OS is a shitshow - even many Chinese apps are not showing notifications (WeiXin, DouYin and so on of course are okay) with vivo.pem installed. And since 2 months or so on updated versions it cannot be debloated anymore (confirmed at least for X90Pro+. Vivo X Fold, Vivo X Fold 2 - without downgrading the system to an older version first - which is impossible on Fold 2)

But I also hope LYT800 will be for standard, LYT900 1/0.98'' for pro+ version, so over 1" in size and way over standard 1'' in performance.
I just hope to see them to improve processing as in hi res is vivo losing detail(smudges in a grass).
Then multi aperture would be great addition, like f1.4 ,f2,f4.
Adding rumored tele,.. its bound to be more exciting than ''you know which'' brands just recycling hw. Not to say vivo didn't on tele end for years, so will hold a breath...

I know, that's why I mentioned Autostart, you need that as well. It takes about 2 minutes to set it up, not a big deal at all.

Fake security updates according to snoopsnitch at least on x90 pro+ (no security updates at all so far since release).

And iqoo somehow gets better updates than X series which never got more than 2 major android upgrades however often skips android version with origin OS major version upgrade. Still however no published policy by Vivo. Only global funtouch has an update policy and actual security updates that also arrive monthly for the first 1-2 years.

Smaller sensor but bigger light capturing abilities. Basically means you can keep the camera footprint small while maintaining similar 1 inch sensor capabilities. Bigger space for motherboard and hopefully better cooling capabilities under a slimmer design. That's why this image sensor is important. Making small things great again.

Really? So why did my vivo IQOO 5 Pro get software updates from Android 10 all the way up to Android 13?

                              "..missing all notifications.."

You just have to set the apps you need notifications from to have Autostart on and to be in High Power Consumption mode. That's it, takes about 2 minutes, at max.

                              "Oh and fake security updates.."

                              Any proof of that?

"..worst battery drain as they use some cheap rubbish modems.."

What are you talking about? I'm using my vivo on 4G/4G+ during the whole day, from 7:30-22:00 and I get around 6-7 hours of SOT with max everything and this phone has an 8 gen 1 in it.. (vivo X Note.)

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2023No more Samsung camera sensor, then? Not for the main sensors anyway. They already used all Sony sensors for the main cameras on the x90 series. Actually none of the rear sensors on any of the x90 series were Samsung sensors. They were all Sony sensors apart from the periscope on the x90 pro+ which uses an omnivision sensor

Doesn't matter what cameras they pack with their industry leading worst OS. No working AOD except for a couple of apps, battery saving vivo.pem can't ve debloated anymore equals missing all notifications and even hard to replace launcher and even then worst battery drain as they use some cheap rubbish modems to save money on their flagship Pro -. Never ever vivo. Besides camera all is horrible .
Oh and fake security updates on top that already arrive way late and no software update guarantee at all on Chinese version..

If vivo wouldn't cut corners on modem and everything they don't mention in specs plus open bootloader they would be absolute winners, right now it's to be avoided at all costs.

And Chinese version is crippled with spyware armada like no tomorrow that cannot be fully debloated. Phone uses battery like crazy just because if this
