I was gonna praise this phone for being a midranger with 512GB storage until I saw that it had a 325% markup (or 750% if you didn't care about the extra RAM). At least it starts at 256GB.

Personally I think the ... moreThe Redmi note 12 pro is 1,599rmb now for 8gb 256gb and 1,799rmb/1,699rmb for 12 gb 256gb based on buying it from aln official Xiaomi store (e.g. Xiaomi or Xiaomi's jd store) but launched at the price I mentioned which was what I meant by being reasonable for a launch. Newly launched phones never offer the best value for money from all brands. It's true that you can always get OPPO and Vivo phones for a little cheaper if you bargain in their offline stores. Xiaomi is normally the same price in their online and offline stores in China though

Besides you did not specify what price to use when comparing phones. I believe that in this site, most people compare sale prices when discussing and decision-making.

That Realme Gt neo 3 was anounced as $315 device.
So no Device has ever anounced for this price with D8100 or Sd 7+ gen 2.
The only Genuine Soc i saw which is slighlty better than sd 782G is Dimensity 1200 or Equivalent of it.

Personally I think the best deal recently is Redmi Note 12 Turbo 16/1TB for CNY1999. Damn, everyone should get one as secondary phone. It is also fully compatible w/ Poco F5's firmware.
You are right, the price still within a reasonable range. Based on my own experience when I was still residing in mainland, offline stores would offer some small discounts right after the launch, especially oppo and vivo.

As far as launch prices though the price is OK. The Redmi note 12 pro for comparison launched at 1,999rmb for 8gb 256gb which was 200rmb more than this at launch. For sure it'll drop in price for double 11 if not before

Honor 70 Pro also comes with a telephoto. Trust me, this K11 phone is slightly overpriced... A more reasonable price would be around 180USD.

Pretty good alrounder really for this price in China. One of the better main cameras in this category and basically has everything (ir blaster, dual speakers etc) bar the headphone jack. It's also 100rmb cheaper than the price published by gsmarena for pre-orders at least so competitively priced
