Lostar, 23 Jul 2023Totally agree, it should have a function. An extra battery compartment in these foldable devices is a no brainer and more environmental friendly as this prelonges the devices life span.
mawlki, 21 Jul 2023That cavity wants to be a battery.Totally agree, it should have a function.
justasmile, 21 Jul 2023Hopefully Samsung would pass the durability test with their Flip 5 and not end up in the same ... moreLooking at the video comments the large majority of his viewers did consider it a pass for the Razr+
RealLifePhones, 21 Jul 2023MrMobile also broke his RAZR 5G cover display and that had a cavety behind the glass as well..... moreThat was also dropped onto concrete in the cold on a rounded corner, any phone screen landing that way would break.
Rajatjsr , 21 Jul 2023It didn't fail the bend test actually, it did better. Infact the question should be raise... morelooking at the video, probably pressure on the glass corner/edge to the metal hinge-frame causing it break
not sure how gorilla glass process their glass screen, but any tempered-glass weakness always in its corner/edge
justasmile, 21 Jul 2023Hopefully Samsung would pass the durability test with their Flip 5 and not end up in the same ... moreWe can just hope. It's still a flip phone after all.
Anonymous, 21 Jul 2023This reminds me, in my experience iPhones overheat and battery drains in hot weather. What are... moreAny phones that have better cooling should've performs better than iPhone.
Thats a perfectly good phone ruined to garner views and make money. If we don't change the planet will change us.
I just decided that I am never going to click on another durability test video, EVER!
gravage, 21 Jul 2023What would we do without GSMarena to write an article about EVERY SINGLE JerryRigEverything vi... moreYeah I see it becoming more apparent day by day. Maybe they jusy find Jerry interesting? Maybe paid promotion? Maybe only major phone coverage? Who knows
Hopefully Samsung would pass the durability test with their Flip 5 and not end up in the same fate as Razr 40 Ultra.
What would we do without GSMarena to write an article about EVERY SINGLE JerryRigEverything video? I mean, it’s not like his channel has MILLIONS of subscribers and substantially more than this site does. We couldn’t have possibly already seen the video ourselves.
Anders, 21 Jul 2023That is simply not true. Middle Eastern countries like Qatar have had 50°c many timesThat's cuz of a little something called air conditionining.
Stepping out of the house for even a minute in the temperature right now (41*) and you are already drenched with sweat. Physical activity is impossible for risk of dehydration.
50* is not something to scoff at. A human could never survive more than an hour in that heat, unless they had constant water and shelter.
Source: I live in Qatar.
Anonymous, 21 Jul 2023This reminds me, in my experience iPhones overheat and battery drains in hot weather. What are... moreEvery regular smartphone will have these issues.
From experience Samsung and iPhone last better than others, Pixels for some reason already have issue at 35 degrees sunny day (source: I had 6 and later 7)
It’s more of a technology issue rather than brand one (Pixels aside)
LazyEngineer, 21 Jul 2023A human body will give up at 50 c which is far from 120c unless you are are modified lab grown... moreThat is simply not true. Middle Eastern countries like Qatar have had 50°c many times
lmao, well I guess the inner screen shouldnt worry us that much
MrMobile also broke his RAZR 5G cover display and that had a cavety behind the glass as well.. this seems like a continuous design flaw.
Anonymous, 21 Jul 2023If live where it’s 120 degrees A human body will give up at 50 c which is far from 120c unless you are are modified lab grown human clone.
