S, 05 Jul 2023Well you are right.
My parents and grand parents still use such phones not because they are p... moreWell that exact. I am from an age or centaury where we rewinded cassetess by pencil.
So no mobile phones at all until i had like 18 years.
Only phone stands and landline. Nowdays phonestands or how to say it correctly slowly going away because every person have its own phone.and nobody carries coins for that kind of phone. Even i started with Nokia. 8310 was my first one. At that time it cost me 22 000 slovak crowns rouugly 730 euros of today if we count inflation we come to maybe 1000 euros. Took me 2 years to pay for that phone on a 2 years long monthly plan.
Now that kind of phone looks cringe compared of phones of today.
But anyway i understands you and your parents.
Since i do same job i understands diversity of people.
This phone is being sold for 999 rupees, in fact it is available in the phone store for 2700 rupees. Along with this, a plan of 1 year validity is also available.

I am going to my village on my holidays. I am thinking of giving my grandparents this phone. Atleast it will have HD audio on calls over Volte.
kiya, 04 Jul 2023the mobile operator just wants to get rid of the 2G network, to turn it offBecause 2G and even 3G is using the spectrum UN-efficiently.
The network spectrum is a limited resource and very expensive (must pay rent to govt).
kiya, 04 Jul 2023the mobile operator just wants to get rid of the 2G network, to turn it offNot an accurate conclusion.
Jio doesn't have a 2G network, the truth is it only wants customers from other companies, because all other operators have 2G network. I live in India, I can confirm this.
I think living without any sort of internet should be a choice, which is unfortunately becoming an impossibility.
Cpt.Power, 04 Jul 2023Well man. Humans are like potatoes.
Every once have different shape, angles, taste and colou... moreWell you are right.
My parents and grand parents still use such phones not because they are poor.
But they are much familier with such phones for decades.
I'm a Gen Z guy and even i used nokia feature phone for 1 full year way back allthough.
But currently using android for more than 10 years.
My parents probably use feature phones since last 20 years, they tried android but they never feel the comfort and bought nokia feature phone again.
And grandparents failed to use the torch option on their phone sometime, so that's my family.
Most kids will not understand general people, but it's ok.
People will decide what they do and what they don't.
If people can vote, then they has ability to choose and that is the main power.
The screen comes straight out of a 2G phone though.
Its Milan, 04 Jul 2023If they do it right way than it won't be teaching new tricks rather only the network will... moreWell man. Humans are like potatoes.
Every once have different shape, angles, taste and colour.
In other words some people will have easier to get of with new techs and deas some will struggle a little and some will not even try or dare to try.
If aint broken dont fix it.
So if their old phones working why to use new?
Was on vacation on Zanzibar this march and people there were so poor that most people had old Nokia. Something like touch phone had maybe ever 30th person.
Over the course oh hollidays only one person from Zanzibar had Apple. And even that phone was Iphone 5.
Hamad1993, 04 Jul 2023We’re almost in 2024, wtf is this lol 😆 We're almost in 2024, and even 4G is not evenly distributed in some remote areas in Asia and Africa. Truly a sad reality.
With such a tiny screen, how can someone be able to watch movies and videos with JioCinema on this phone?
the mobile operator just wants to get rid of the 2G network, to turn it off
I have very bad experience with jio phone , and i think this will be worst than jio phone .
Cpt.Power, 04 Jul 2023Well good luck with that.
For example here in Slovakia most banks even the post offices went... moreIf they do it right way than it won't be teaching new tricks rather only the network will go from 2g to 4g
Many old people here in India still are using early 2000s Nokia's so if jio nails the simplicity of that OS it would be a breeze
But knowing how Jio handled phase one back with jiophone I doubt it'll be easy
Hamad1993, 04 Jul 2023We’re almost in 2024, wtf is this lol 😆 Some people don’t have a lot of money, just because of which part of the world they were born
1000mah battery will have juice for 10 days. My new iPhone last one day. 10 years ago my then new iphone lasted 1 day.
What we get for 10 years -nothing. Same sh*t, bigger price.
Even scrap dealers have smartphone, keypad phones are for bookies
