I have a set of the first gen glasses. Is there a trick or settings I must use to get them to work with the TCL 20 pro 5G? They work flawless with my Samsung S20 and Huawei 20X.
I have the G original version and looks like this is just the same device with some welcome additions like the controls. The G also works with all S addons like the control box. In my case I use Bluetooth headset connected to the streaming device or phone/tablet to avoid audio output from the glasses. Contrary of what lots of reviews said, I have no issues with the G an cost only $170 in Amazon.
Have to appreciate the staff member who took the courage to wear these weird, hiedous looking smart glasses. Its a courage to just wear one in public, leave alone snapping a pic.
Who here is a fan of how these glasses look? Coz I can't see anyone discussing it.
These TCL goggs are cool and the price almo reasonable. Wishing for something other than Wayfarers old 80's looking style.
Please TCL, do please partner with wonderfully fitting Oakley Radar style goggs that have replaceable silicon rubber nose and ear rests.

Does that explain why you're Anonymous here?? I'm almost sure you're sitting behind some VPN or Onion router, but believe me when I say that your ISP can poke in all your datagrams irrespective of how much you try to hide yourself, otherwise they'll block you!

A better idea would be to use earphones connected (through a wire or not) to the device driving the displays on the glasses.
Looka better than Apple Glasses
IMO, these are the only glasses that have the potential to be sold to masses.
They are simply practical and the use-cases are simply there.
Just compare the practicality of these kind of glasses with something such as Quest or Vision Pro (which even doesn't exist as a product yet).
First photo looks like we are closing in on Cyberpunk future.

Giving kudos to anyone who read 100% of the aticle.
Someone made a really good work typing all this honestly but it was very long to read.
this is basically a monitor on the go. but how about the audio jack for plugging in earphones?? if it was there, i would've used the glasses more than the main display of the steam deck, let alone laptops.
StarfoxHUN, 26 Jun 2023What is the pro of this device compared to Nreal or even Rokid? Rokid costs more, that is true... moreJuan Bagnell made a video comparison between all three, though the Rokid Max wasn't a thing when he made the video*.

I'm all for Function over Form.... but Sheesh
Most people wouldn't be caught dead wearing something that hideous.
This is one of the few things where Form should take precedence over Function. Just like a Wrist Watch and other rare men's fashion accessories.
This is probably what I'd call a true private viewing experience. Literally no one other than yourself can see what you're watching. This alone is actually quite useful.
Good for driving
