That's why I always flash custom ROM on all of Xiaomi phones I bought before. It's a miles better experience than MemeUI.

The 7 Gen 1 was ruined by the 7+ Gen 2... they should rebranded the 7 Gen 1 as 6 Gen 2 instead.
If the phone has the chance to connect like the Samsung Dex, they would have a chance.

Those 1/4" and 1/4.4" are useless as front cameras, even worse used as rear.
Even on those $100 phones.
I 'd rather see phones with single cam instead.

The more i see posts like yours the more i think that F1 is my last xiaomi device. I've seen xiaomi fans as well bashing others, just because theirs isn't a redmi or a mi, so no hate on the op for xiaominions. Maybe xiaomi has their own 50 cent army.
Regarding the u23 ultra i think it needs time to be proven as good or bad. From spec list it's the first phone i'd consider buying in 2023 that's worth more than 250euros. Expandable storage has become an innovation in these times of degradation and chinese oems have proven to be trash in that regard.
