We're talking about "4 OS Upgrades", not the security patches btw. Nothing really special with 3 OS upgrades btw (except if you're using some Chinese midrangers then sure it's special). Speaks about Pixel, Pixel 4 receives Android 13 SOONER btw. Both Pixel 4 and Samsung A51 come with Android 10.
Security patch is a different story. Sure A51 receives 1 year more security patch than Pixel btw... just if the majority of users care about it. The problem is, only a small number of people like us tech enthusiasts or enterprises that care about security patches.

Also another example, a midrange phone from 2019 Galaxy A51 got its 3rd OS upgrade LAST YEAR.
So, if i were to choose, which Android brand (out of 1000 brands) thats more believable to deliver long software support, it is Samsung.

Xiaomi has done that for the dual selfie cameras of the Xiaomi Civi 3. Yes, there is dual tone dual LED flash for selfie cameras on that phone, so something similar could be done here.

As far as I know I feel like this is more like a "pure fashion" phone, where most likely the market is aimed at girls to switch from iPhone. Those "mini-makeup-box" style phones will be unique to them and especially useful for those who do frequent TikTok vlogs.
Also speaks about efficiency, tbh there's not much difference when we compared 8 Gen 2 with 8+ Gen 1 which is already efficient enough. But yeah they should put a better camera and a bigger sub-4000mAh battery instead.

I do agree though that not using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was a missed opportunity as it would've increased battery life by a lot, especially considering the small 3840mAh battery capacity. It could've also used better cameras, like a 50 MP Samsung GN1 or a 64 MP Sony IMX787 for the wide sensor,

The cover screen layout is ugly and really differs from the current samsung design language. The new Motorola razr is better.
