Weird-ass Chinese phone, from the specs to the camera design of both versions.
Basically Reno 10 China version, but uses different design, downgraded charging speeds, and 50MP. Then change the model name to make it globally.
making price so higher wouldn't more interested and not worth for this phone
Reno 10x zoom(2019) snapdragon 855, reno10 pro(2023) snapdragon 778g

News about Opplusme
" BBK announced recently that the three smartphone makers will now function completely as individual entities."
I hope this ends the nasty rebranding thing ....

Now finally Oppo had ditched out the Shitty Snapdragon695 for 400$ phones...but hey SD778G is 3 gen far from SD7gen2+
Im happy if oppo making bad decision lol more overprice crap here in PH oppo sells reno as they midrange phones but call them AS FLAGSHIP but they dont even sell the pro variant only z and the regular variant
Anonymous, 07 Jun 2023Cheaper hardware for higher price, I suppose i suppose. hahahahaha!
Cheaper hardware for higher price, I suppose
I have read Dimensity 7xxx, not SD778
And yet it's going to cost significantly higher. Still in the 24-28k mark. How about no?
Looks like prices of new chipsets have reached cloud 9 that oem are opting for older chipsets
Don't get me wrong, the phone itself isn't bad, but knowing Oppo they will overprice it
The Reno10 Pro+ better launch globally with same specs, if not the series is gonna be a huge fail!
I am glad that they at least still keep the telephoto lens, I thought that they will downgrade the 3rd camera to 2mp camera.
No one will buy it either way
Idk abt other countries but the Reno series is outrageously expensive for the specs here. Reno 8 Pro starts from $761 while for that price, you can get the similarly priced but imported X90 Pro ($708), Xiaomi 13 Pro ($731) or Find X6 Pro ($803). Both Find N2 Pro and X5 Pro are just $100 more expensive and they're from the official store. I kinda feel bad for ppl who bought it.
It's the beginning of the end for Oppo: the brand is compensating for its low sales with a more comfortable margin. This strategy in times of inflation is not the right one
