The only thing they can tempt the customer with is a lower price, and they don't even do that

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2023Check out the used prices of the 12S Ultra on a well known online marketplace, selling for £60... moreNo heart, just both of these companies have a long tradition of good quality products, which can't be said about all the Asian ones where sometimes it is hit or miss or phone support dies after premiere.
Even big companies are to blame in the past who got seriously f up for example is reason why LG disappeared from the market and HTC berly keep it together.
So far, Motorola is making good changes and is slowly returning to the premium segment and maybe in a few years it will regain trust, apart from that there is only Samsung and Apple

CJ, 10 Jun 2023Will this come out in America? Or will I have to buy the EU Version with Global ROM? Before buying, check if the antennas have all the transmission bands in your region because from what I found,in my country lacks a few basic ones that make this phone an expensive paperweight
I mention this because the global version may have different frequencies

Sure the price for the 13 Ultra is too high when you look at the depreciation compared to Apple & Samsung, but Apple & Samsung people aren't going to buy the 13 Ultra in the first place, it's a purchase you make with your heart not your head
Saying that, I had an iPhone 14 Pro and changed to a 13 Ultra I got brand new for £829 from that same marketplace :-)

It's a great phone, no doubt. The best? Arguable, but up there. However, it is still not Apple or even Samsung to command outrageous prices. It needs to have perfect hardware AND software, with 5 years of updates.
Maybe I would go as high as €750, but higher than that is way too much.
