Samsung already has built in feature to stop charging at 85%. But I am using routines to call this feature when my phone is charged to 95%. So my phone stops charging after 95%.

I hate this feature, it makes me addicted to the battery health lol! I really wish Apple wouldn't display a percentage, just put subjective terms "Good condition" or "Needs servicing / replacement". Watching the % drop really gives anxiety. haha.

Even though native Android OS hasn't included that feature. Plenty of OEMs have included battery health information in their customized softwares. So this isn't new to Android phones, just new to every Android phone which didn't have it before.

You know, that phone stops charging in the middle of the night, only to finish charging right before the alarm. Xperia phones has it, as well as Pixel phones. Xiaomi's used to have it, but don't anymore, or only on a few models.

Google should force manufacturers to have charger bypass the battery in new phones. This way, the phone operates from the charger not the battery whenever it is plugged, no wear to the battery when plugged. Additionally, this allows phones without batteries to operate from the charger which is good for old phones, to be reused for many things.
