what is so special about snapdragon 680 and 695, that they release phones with that chipset offers hefty priced phones??

Either the 6 Gen is expensive or in the current inflationary environment manufacturers are trying to retain a margin by using an older and cheaper chip given that the CPU is a major cost component of the phone. Qualcomm should have released a 6 Gen 2 by now as well.

Battery was also not great considering the battery size of the phone. But it was good for the winter as a hand warmer.
