Dang. I was really hoping that the Pixel 8 devices would have Qi2 built in.
The Pixel 8 will be my first wireless charging phone in a long time. (Nexus 4)
Do pixels not have a equivalent of Dex mode from galaxy?
I have Pixel 7 and I only use wireless charging which is 20w, it's OK. And the release successor with slower charging? Interesting idea..

Mollisol, 02 Jun 2023Not just modified but an actual Exynos chip renamed Tensor Are you kidding ??? Tensor has a whole different design than most SoCs except for the base ARM architecture, People like you who write nonsense just to get attention are the worse, sorry but please take your garbage comments somewhere else thanks.
Mollisol, 02 Jun 2023Still waiting for a day Google Pixel phones will have 80W wired charging minimum for me to buy... more65W would be fine, honestly. The current rate is just way too slow. It's the worst thing about the Pixel 7 honestly.

However if someone really wants more than that, the Magic 4 Pro offers 100W wireless, it's probably the only one to ever go above 50W, but even I wouldn't recommend using such high speeds wirelessly.
I have used 180W wired, and saw nothing wrong with that, but that's only because you aren't putting your phone on the very hot charger, but with wireless charging you have to.
Anonymous, 01 Jun 2023Better phone at higher price > worse phone at lower price All depends on the phone and price
wireless charging dont care. but make it wired charges at least >60W. I know google wont make it till next 2~3 version. it's totally unfavorable phone till then

Digital zoom loses quality, it is fact.
Cpt.Power, 01 Jun 202312 wireless charging speeds is just waste of money and means damage for battery.
If its not ... more80W? LOL
Guess you havent seen China forces for security measures the OEMs to have no more than 50W.
You are never gonna again see more than 50.
Looking forward to tensor G3 and camera/video capabilities. If we believe what Samsung says about their 4nm node that it's far better today that what it was back in the day...so if G3 delivers close to what snapdragon 8g2 or mediatek 9200 in terms of perf per watt with a decent modem and improves the camera while maintaining sane prices I will keep and eye on it.
Will have processor worse than midrange, still be recommended by these "reviewers"
