Is it some kind of sick Google joke? 😂 "The team felt like it should only launch devices that are good enough or better than what is out there already." Releasing on of the worst foldable in 2023 and has balls to say that 😂

So they settled for good enough in the end.

Anonymous, 30 May 2023Samsung is great and nobody can copy them. They are lazy to do that.the flip series has terrible display durability, and the fold series has an awkward ratio on the outer display, and the largest trench in a foldable on the inner display. Oh, and their customer service department is incompetent & not helpful at all. Samsung may be leading in certain aspects, but they are most definitely not the best.

Michael Fisher AKA Mr. Mobile is my favorite techtuber. But I'm starting to think the foldables he keeps praising are mostly a novelty. They don't bring anything new that's actually practical. Went back using my iPhone SE (2022) and it pretty much does everything my Z Flip 3 and Razr 5G can do.

It's a gimmick. Slabs looks to rule forever.

The camera bump on pixel fold is better than regular pixel. Hope the pixel 8 will come with a similar camera bump.

so, how much more with more innovative companies than google?
we might be surprised how many prototypes not known by most people…

waiting for the 2 or 3 that are going to fall into this trap to start reporting problems, one of them will be the melting of the screen due to the heat of tenxynos hahahaha

Fold is their top priced flagship so it should've debuted this year's chipset before their regular/Pro series. The regular/Pro series are the first with the latest android OS version and the fold should be the first with the latest chipset imo.

This phone is too big, but I'm interested in the hingeneering. They copied the surface duo's approach by putting the hinge in the bezels. It might not be pleasing to the eye, but it could address the durability issues we see from other foldables.

I think Google just testing how the Pixel Fold does first, if it sells decent, then we might have a flip model in the future.
