Honestly,I think both F5 and F5 Pro are great.i would know because I bought them both.i can afford to buy both because I would never buy overpriced phones like the high end Samsungs and I will NEVER EVER buy ridiculously overpriced iPhones.i have a Poco F1(still in very good condition),Poco F3,Poco X4 GT(also in good condition btw) because I find them quite affordable.In my country,if I were to buy a high end Samsung it's going to cost me over almost thousand plus plus dollars.total cost of buying both F5 and F5 Pro:under $900 dollars(not USD)(bought them online during sales and used discount coupons).

F5 is proving more popular because of the lower price tag. It's not because it's better than F5 Pro.
All F5 buyers would have take F5 Pro if the price is not higher. The outcome is not based on better performance or more beautiful design.

As someone who owns one, Poco F5 is the poor man's Zenfone 9 but bigger in size lol. Headphone jack + the similar floating large rings camera look. F5 Pro should have had better cameras and I agree with you, a more streamlined similar look and bezels.

One thing that the F5 clearly has over the F5 Pro is the design: very modern, attractive, great design choice on the cameras, slim bezels, light weight and thin body. It feels like a top phone from this year.
The F5 Pro gives the impression of a phone from 2020. The camera island is one of the ugliest I’ve ever seen, the bezels should have been at least as slim as those on the F5 and it should have been lighter.
The phones should have resembled each other much more, but this is an unfortunate side effect of rebranding 2 phones from 2 different series.
I also don’t understand why the F5 skips 4K filming at 60 fps, while even my 3-year old Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G has it.
