CargoJoe, 26 May 2023Weird. I like the name Nreal better. Unreal didn't though unfortunately. They sued Nreal and they have just pivoted with it and spun it into a name change to better align with their new products.

err... you mean gaming monitors are primarily used for youtube and tiktok?
I feel so stupid now, I've been GAMING on a GAMING monitor, like an idiot! Should've watched youtube instead!!!

And i do understand that in like 10 years we still dont have good enough battery technology to support all of that. But yeah this SAO is too far in the future maybe 30 years.
But then again technology advances fast so who knows what we have in 10-20 years in the future. If we look back what we had 10 years ago and what we have now

I am going to wait for smart/AR glasses which does not need phone to work and i could wear them everywhere.

Those would do everything that these video glasses do and much more!

These video glasses are just not enough, at least for 399 dollars.

e-waste. Rokid Air already at 120Hz with slightly wider DoF for almost the same price. Personally, I find $400 to be bit steep, you could buy 4k TVs at this price. At current specs, I'll get one at $200.
However, these glasses need to update/upgrade quickly as this space will blow up once Apple releases their VR device.

hmm, 25 May 2023I would brand it as Dreal As dead for real when walking on a street and get run over by some ... moreSAO like VR is sooo far in the future if possible at all as that is Brain-connected VR that manipulates your Nervous system.
But AR promised by these glasses are here since so long, the main reason we do not have it yet mainstream is the poor battery tech. These glasses still connects to the phone by USB cable yet still pretty bulky for casual wearing, imagine it with a sufficently sized battery. Its pretty much impossible to wear this while walking right now.

Evening Star, 25 May 2023Sounds better as Nreal tbh the letter X is becoming overused in branding nowadays.I would brand it as Dreal
As dead for real when walking on a street and get run over by some bus or a car or a electric scooter.

Cause we need more distractions to move around in the wild.

But yeah i cant wait when this technology advance to the point as in anime Sword Art Online and that future not so far away if we already have then like sunglasses in size too
