What is the point in 6gb version . 6gb ram is made for low end phones. 8gb is for mid range.
They make easy decisions in terms of "should you buy it or not" when use Exynos.
Next phone.
Samsung should take a page from OPPO and close down their mobile chip design department. They've spent BILLIONS of dollars for a consistently inferior product when they could have profited far more just by volume licencing Qualcomm chips, not including lost sales from offering a worse overall chip in an otherwise ideal phone package.
They made the right choice with the s23 to unity their entire lineup with SD chips, but once again fucked it up by making the same mistakes in bringing exynos back.
They don't even charge less for the inferior version of their phones, giving consumers a worse product in every way compared to markets that get the SD chips. Close the division down, the phones would be cheaper to produce, cost less for consumers and get more sales offering better performance across the board.
CasualPerson, 27 May 2023Intel is Notorious for CPU Throttling. Exynos is also Notorious for that same thing. Differe... moreExynos didn't disappear, it is now 'rebranded' as Tensor and used in Google Pixel phones.
The, 26 May 2023they're like AMD you mean? You're a couple a gens behind. AMD used to be much worse in heat and efficiency but they switched, even Intel's performance core efficiency has more heat and more power usage. That's not to say AMD is perfect but they seem to be improving the efficiency whereas Intel seems to be going for performance at the expense of everything. Its all different but Exynos is the equivalent of what AMD used to be but closer to Intel currently
The, 26 May 2023they're like AMD you mean?Intel is Notorious for CPU Throttling.
Exynos is also Notorious for that same thing.
Difference is, Some People Actually Like intel, While Exynos is Universally Hated by almost everyone.
I would call them The AMD of the Phone SoC industry just for GPU, but because of Exynos' Horrible Power Consumption, They deserve to be compared to intel.
CasualPerson, 26 May 2023Exynos sucks in battery consumption and thermal control, especially the 2200, because of AMD... morethey're like AMD you mean?
Anonymous, 26 May 2023I am wondering the exact same thing. I think I'll wait up to August This will no bring any surprises or wonders.
If you you look back at S21fe and S22fe, they were failures and this S23fe will fail again.
kevvv, 26 May 2023Exynos has a "not good" battery life and worse efficiency compared to MediaTek nowadays.Exynos sucks in battery consumption and thermal control, especially the 2200, because of AMD's GPUs and Samsung's "next-gen" fabrication. They're like the Intel of the SoC industry.
Exynos 2200.... Is awful, thank god it never sold internationally with the S22.
Selling it with the S23 FE has to be the worst business tactic ever, whoever investor told them to do that is either mentally insane or a troll.
James Whister, 25 May 2023What's your opinion? Shall I wait for s23 fe or to go for S21 fe at 350$? I am wondering the exact same thing. I think I'll wait up to August
Anonymous, 25 May 2023Im not an expert but does exynos suck that bad compared to helio or dimensity or something?Exynos has a "not good" battery life and worse efficiency compared to MediaTek nowadays.
0odle-noodle, 25 May 2023The FE series is pointless. Taking last gen specs, tossing it into a device with a plastic bac... moreS21+ is still way more expensive than S21 FE in my place.
Samsung game plan is to offer garbage chipsets to row and sd chips only in prime countries. If they do offer SD chips then they charge a bomb.
Then they complain about falling sales.
Plus the dozens of alphabetic and numerical variants to further confuse buyers. Other brands offer upto 16gb ram with SD chips at much less price.
Anonymous, 25 May 2023Im not an expert but does exynos suck that bad compared to helio or dimensity or something? In most cases like gaming, browsing, and day to day use it does, but Samsung's ISP (Image Signal Processor) is still ahead of the other's.
Steven Seagal , 25 May 2023Who in the right mind would buy S23 FE with Exynos 2200, snapdragon 870 is better at this point 🙄If the exynos 2200 is a unbranded tensor 2 chip then it's mostlikely better then snapdragon 8 gen 1 and optimized for galaxy. If samsung put and expandable SD card on this which I doubt ...s23 fe should b3 very competitive at $599.
Failed Edition. 🤣
Who in the right mind would buy S23 FE with Exynos 2200, snapdragon 870 is better at this point 🙄
Im not an expert but does exynos suck that bad compared to helio or dimensity or something?
