IpsDisplay, 16 May 2023Hopefully we have just one company that owns everything on the planet with no competition S... morePeople are only thinking about the immediate benefits of getting new games in the game pass. Remember, it is the same Microsoft that blocked physical copies of games from running on different xbox to effectively kill the second hand game market, and only went back after strong backlash. Long term effects will be worse for gaming industry as whole, I think.
Saying that, I hope it doesn't get worse than this.

Microsoft has been out here spending billions in acquisitions yet they still haven't been able to release a good game in the last 10 years 😂 I'm starting to think the studios aren't at fault here 👀

Sony exclusives are better, but Microsoft view on gaming (as an industry) is better.
I hope Microsoft will succeed in making Game Pass the best gaming service out there.
I had consoles from all 3 big companies in the past and I admit I enjoyed Sony consoles (PS3, PS4, PSP and PsVita), but lately I want Microsoft to succeed more in this industry.
I think is good news for Microsoft and gaming in general.

                  Translation:

Lets trick them into making the deal go through

Then later on we will find a loop hole and have a monopoly to oppress the industry

Even though Xbox would keep COD on PlayStation, Sony is still shitting buckets and will bribe anyone to block the deal.
