Good thing G**gle isn't in charge (see what I did there?) of updating EV's. Seriously, this has the potential of resulting in a dangerous situation. I hope the solution is found quickly for all Pixel owners. No likes to see this happen irrespective of the brand.

P6 Pro user here, all apps updated, including Playstore and with the most recent security update - never had an issue with any apps nor any kind of battery drain. Google app is not even on my list of apps that consume battery at all
