both nice phones but too expensive, specifically the fold but the 7a is also more expensive than the 6a was when launched I think the 7a should have been 499 euro
Pixel Fold: battery life too poor, just waiting reviews, price is too high and bezels are huge
Pixel 7a: unless they drop the price to 399, 500-600 range the Pixel 7 is a much better option. Pixel 7 with premium build, ip68 and camera sensors are better.
Compare pixel 7a to Xiaomi 12T Pro 12GB 256 GB storage, google is still a kid so many years gone but genius don't know how to make phones but layoff people but ceo earn money put a case on sundar.
Yes, 7a might be the phone i waited for (to replace my OP6). But stone age charging speed ruined everything. I actually would choose quicker charge speed instead of HRR.
Too small and too narrow, not wide enough for 7a
Not worth it for foldable one
AverageIndianUser, 14 May 2023ugly old design, reminds me of htc one x9.... bulky phone with poor buildDesgin is subjective okay, and I can see why one might dislike it, I personally like it tho, unique and quite elegant in a way, I think Pixels are among best looking phones rn.
However saying it has poor build quality is objectively wrong lol.
Contemplator, 14 May 2023I'm interest in buying 7A however, I can't use OLED and there's no option for L... moreCan't use OLED, what you kind of special person or Oled phobic you are? There is barely any phone these days without OLED screen, so what you going to do stop using phones in general, or buy cheapest crap around to stay with LCd? 🤣
You know Goole messed up than midrange 7a provides better features than 1700 foldable phones, Pixel Fold must go down in history as worst foldable phone ever :)
UltraHD, 14 May 2023Unfortunately when i read that Pixel 7a has issues with battery and chipset i don't think... moreIt has a small battery, so it will never have a good battery life. Sure, screen is smaller, but screen is not the biggest power hog in a phone. Modem and CPU are. So a phone with a small screen and small battery will always have worse battery life than a phone with bigger screen and bigger battery.
Unfortunately when i read that Pixel 7a has issues with battery and chipset i don't think it's best buy right now, maybe it'll get better after few software updates.
These phones are awful, extremely impractical. Pathetic battery life, questionable endurance, especially with the inability to have a screen protector and case. Oh, and extremely expensive too. Of course, no 3.5mm jack either.
Total POS, all of them.
I currently use 6a as my personal phone and 4a as my work phone.
I need not buy a new one till next year ( to replace 4a).
Honestly the Android experience is the best I have had on pixels.
May go with an iPhone, if not a Pixel.
pixel phones are only available in select markets & region-locked unless rooted. will not buy one unless google makes it available in my country. sounds like a skill issue for a company like google 🤔
Anonymous, 14 May 2023honestly, pixel 7a is vastly overpriced for the hardware you get. Poco F5 Pro is cheaper, give... moreWhat! comparing a pixel with poco
I'm not buying a Pixel Pro or Fold. I will buy a Pixel A but only when they give a 120hz display. 90hz at this price point is shitty, much less at the Pixel 7's. That's not even factoring in the other downgrades like battery life and charging etc. My current Galaxy F23 cost me $170 and has a 120hz display. Ironically, it also comes with GG5 on the front. Google is only winning on brand name.
