And I am glad that it finally doesn't censor political speech, so as someone who values living in a democracy, its value is exponentially higher to me.

It's a lil odd to be like "no complain because streaming subscriptions and coffee" while simultaneously being concerned about social media company (notoriously poor companies I hear) profits - especially when the topic is just.. paywalled encrypted messaging..
Dang, those streaming services are an incredible deal when put that way. So gracious of them to store my account info so I can give em money. Maybe if I pay $2/month extra they wont store my password in plaintext!

All social media sites now will have this subscription as these sites need to make profit to exist. Never mind that it's not mandatory to pay for it and you probably use some other app for DM's anyway
