Anonymous, 10 May 2023Custom rom avoids planned obsolescence.Not when built in malfunctions are present.
I had 2 of my phones, Oneplus and another Xiaomi, break down (MBO, charging, USB) after ~2.5 years, right after i replaced the battery.
I then decided I will use for 2 years then sell, at least I get some money back that way.

Want flagship performance with 2 years os update and 3 years security or you want middle class that give you 4 years android updates and 5 years security updates. Based on performance by Antutu v9 the A54 is around 500k while F5 is something 1M or close to it.
Also same performance to rival A54 you get Poco X5 Pro that is like 100-150 euro cheaper

Anonymous, 10 May 2023That Exynos is almost as fast as Snapdragon 778G.Exynos 2200 also as fast as Snapdragon 8gen1 on paper, but in real world use the Snapdragon is still much better. That is why Samsung use Snapdragon in all S23 this year.

It´s easy to release new phone every two months, but not easy to support it properly.
