Sure, maybe it's a little better than Exynos, but still bad. Exynos in A54 is much better in that regard and still provides more raw power than your typical user will ever need.

The 8+ Gen 1 should have been the one in the S22.
I want the Exynos to succeed but so far it has been disappointing so they better make sure it's miles ahead of SD before even talking about going after Apple.

To be fair, from the way things look for the past few years, Exynos for the S24 won't be ahead of SnapDragon. Personally I was one of those tat was hype by the market for the Exynos chip, and was happy to learned that Singapore market gets the Exynos version of Samsung phones (I know except S23, no need to keep repeating). I once had the chance to get my hand on a SD powered S22 and compared it to the Exynos version, let's just say, after that I have decided to leave all Exynos chip.
Just to add on, I tried SD and Exynos S9 as well. SD just performs better and more stable than Exynos.
Anyway, to each his own. You like Samsung, whatever chip your market uses, you can only get that isn't it? Not much of a choice.

Btw the s23 ultra which has overclocked sd8 gen 2 a.k.a sd8 gen for for GALAXY performs like 9-10% lesser fps compared to previous sd8+ gen 1 SoC from Chinese brand like Xiaomi 12t pro. Take a look at YouTube gamer fps test like genshin impact runs 50-55/60 fps from s23 ultra vs xiaomi 12t at 59-60fps. Indeed many people fall from Samsung yt reviews and samsung advertising :/
