I got my POCO F3 8/256GB for €300 on discount, it was already 1 year old by then but the full price was about €450. These 2 will be super expensive, the F4 GT was almost €800, I'm afraid to think how much the F5 Pro will cost here in my country!

So in UK i just dont believe you that year ago it was only 270£ when in Baltics that is in EU it was around 450 euro on release.
That 270£ probably is trough a friend who has like company price and can get 30% off the price or something. It just makes no sense to have like 150 euro cheaper in UK over rest of the EU countries

Also A54 with 6.4 inch screen but is only like 3mm shorter over 6.67 inch screen
Based on price Pixel 7 is a lot more expensive and 7a will probably be around same as F5 be but with a lot less features like 120hz screen and 3.5mm jack that pixel 7a wont have and also fast charging that pixel is on something that Xiaomi had 5 years ago on there budget phones.
In my country market Pixel 6a cost still 360 euro but is basically blank phone with 60hz screen and ok cameras and rest is just meh. All it has going for is a bit more compact size but not compact enough if you see same size screen phones like Samsung S22 that is 6mm shorter as it makes it more compact.

My real gripe is if POCO has left these sudden death issues in they past. Their motherboards used to be near the bottom of the barrel. If so I might consider the F5. The 7+G2 is a amazing chip.

Also what is the problem here with the cpu ? It's not weak or anything !
That vanilla have 7+ gen 2 that is basically same as that 8+ gen 1
How will they hold the cost of the phone down if they would go with 8 gen 2 ? Or what is the latest with plus minus super mega hyper and so on naming confusion.
For that i would ask is there even a brain between your ears ?

Is it a downgrade from Poco F4 ??? Like how is it downgrade from F5 Pro when it's the Pro model of the new generation ? When F5 Pro would come out first and then half a year later vanilla F5 then i would understand the argument of downgrade but not even then to be honest. It's like why isn't the screen said as downgrade from the Pro model to 1080p `? By the same logic ?

Nothing special though, they don't tell us anything we don't know.
Let's face it, the price will make or break this phone. The Poco F4 on release not even a year ago in the UK was £269 for the larger 8GB/256GB model.
Let's see how much Xiaomi ruin the release on this. I hope not.

Poco F5 "The rear camera setup consists of a 64MP unknown main sensor, 8MP ultrawide unit and 2MP macro camera. OIS and EIS are still present, but the fact that sensor isn't confirmed suggests a downgrade compared to the Pro."
The pro is using the same sensor as the Poco F4 which itself is nothing special, so the base F5 should have at least this....
