Also, almost every brand are all mediocre random brand, with random alphabet combination like oddo, vido, xiaomay, huaway.
Many People are shy to have a phone with random brand, no wonder Samsung and Apple are two brands with highest marketshare worldwide, because they are popular and prestige.😎

If they don't release their phones globally, with Google Services and matching Software updates commitment then why would Samsung bother.
Chinese foldables are really great but if there is no competition, I don't see any point for Samsung to roll up it's sleeves.
Want better foldables? Increase competition globally, Simple LOL

My issue is that they compromised many things and it's still expensive. Software aside, look at the vivo X Fold+, which has a 5x telephoto, bigger camera sensors, ultra sonic fingerprint sensors on both sides, faster charging and faster wireless charging, but no water resistance. That phone would costs me 1650 usd, I'd rather buy that, than any Samsung.
There is also the Huawei Mate X3, which is basically the same as the vivo, but with water resistance, the software is a deal breaker to me and likely most people, but it's a better phone hardware wise.

[deleted post]Yeah, sure. Just ordered a vivo X Note yesterday, plus the additional wireless charger accessory with it, for 860 usd. I've got enough money for any Samsung phone, I just don't want any of them.
If you had seen me here before you would know that me not buying any Samsung phone isn't a money issue, I just don't like them.

If you want iOS, you will buy an iPhone, even if it looks very similar as the last model, or the one before it. If you want an android phone, Samsung is nowhere near the only option, and if you look into it, and look through their "awesome" advertisements, you will know they are nowhere near the best ones either.

Beautifully designed. With samsung's signature triple vertical lens. No wonder Samsung has 80-90% foldable marketshare in the last 2 years.
Not even any random brand foldables could beat the sales of Z Fold 3 from 2021! And other random brand foldables still have no IP rating in 2023! Hello?!
No samsung brand no buy.
