Over and above that, even if China sees an iPhone as a "domestic product" they know full well its not a local brand unlike OPPO, Xiaomi and Huawei, yet the Chinese market clamor for iPhone over all the special edition stuff their own local manufacturers do for them, lol!

blue, 28 Apr 2023I hope Xiaomi will end more like Siemens, Alcatel or Sagem. Who now remembers they produced phones? That wont happen as Xiaomi is just like Samsung and LG that basically covers all electronics you can imagine. Comparing them with phones brands that did only phones basically.

The main issue of china brands is that they're even asking more money for a phone that
even if good than the Iphone in many areas is not really that far away and software wise
despite android being good enough still in some departments they aren't comparable to samsung which is the absolute king of android.

So, long story short, they were breaking the market when XIAOMI was selling phones like the MI9 or MI9T Pro, the Mi 10/11, but since that point they just become absurdly expensive.

And people before paying 1200€ for a xiaomi they go to Apple.

it's the kind of support you'll get from Apple. Also, owning a 3 or 4 year old iPhone is still as good as owning a brand-new midrange Android. Just my two cents.

On the other hand, all phone manufacturers should learn that majority of customers will not upgrade their phones every year, so they should stop releasing phones with almost no upgrades each year!

All phones are optimized for the latest OS Nr. So every OS update will be messing up that optimization on what it was released. So it's probably better to no update your phone as all updates are probably like OS and nothing on skin but some optimizations get broken. So it will slow down in a long run without you notice it. So after few years you touch new phone and you get wow how fast :D buy new one as it is consumer era where things are not made to last for long. Light pulp was also first invented too good soo they needed to nerf it so it breaks in some time. As the first one was too good
