Would be uncomfortable to hold. One hand would be always touching the camera and it would be annoying. It just not designed for portrait orientation.
And then it's just too big. Make 9.9" version, move camera back to the edge, add card slot/reader, add 3.5 mm jack (so you can use headphones and peripherals on the go without huge wire snivel at the bottom) and move Type C port from side to the bottom for portrait orientation and make it USB 3 Gen 2x1 at least.

I can't believe OnePlus is finally making feminine hygiene products!
Remember when we laughed at the iPad for its horrible naming?

Awful colour. Should have offered atleast 3 colours. Still a pretty good tablet considering the price.
So even OnePlus went to the path of saving money.....I mean environment. Why aren't governments interfering in things like these, this is absurd considering this tablet only supports custom charging standards and if you don't had a OnePlus device in last year, you have to buy a separate charger which will be useless after you get fed up with this tablet a year later.

An IPS screen in this day and age on a ~500€ midrange product?
Also, no word on accessory prices, but I expect Oneplus is going to play the Apple/Samsung game and overcharge for everything proprietary that make this device actually usable.
"I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that"
What is the point create their own fast charging protocol but they don't include the adapter? And the fact they don't even sell their adapter in their online official store make it even worse. Should we just buy some 3rd party adapter that only able charge 17 or 10 watt? No wonder why they keep losing market to samsung and apple.
It's all copied, no 8" tablet or pad worth mentioning, and much worse if you expect it with LTE
thank you
Imo, Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will give more bang for the buck (if you find a trustworthy seller...)
Koishi Komeiji, 28 Apr 2023this is funni, it was same shared specs with OPPO Pad 2OnePlus Pad is the global counterpart of the Oppo Pad 2. That's why.
I’m very suprised they didn’t provide a charger. Even Apple, APPLE! provide a charger with all iPad’s and the OnePlus Pad is not a budget device.
No SIM card slot, that's one useless tablet.
