That is fraud from T Mobile they just playing game with customers I switched to T mobile may 25th i had 3 lines all 3 line had 36 month contract with Verizon and i had to pay off those contract to move to T mobile then once my line got activated i had to submit keep and switch rebate to get those $800 rebate for all 3 lines that i had verizon contract after 15 days when i logged inn T mobile online account it said denied i called customer support said submit again did again waited 30 days still denied because of this bullshit i lost $2400
Please don’t get into this scam if you payoff verizon device agreement you will now able to reinstate that agreement back and you will loose device promotion credit what Verizon offer monthly on your line

$90 a month is still a lot of money for whats essentially not even unlimited. I pay €25 a month for truly unlimited inside my country and 50GB in the EU. This is much more reasonable in my eyes than a whopping $90

FYI, USA it's an enormous territory, over populated along coasts and under populated in rest. To cover this area with wireless signal, you need $$$!

They have a single line only plan that is 60. So with auto pay 50. Tmobile is 60 with autopay
So if you go to Walmart where phones are cheaper and get something like an a14 and autopay it would be 62 with at&t or 64 with tmobile. Thatts roughly including taxes and credits too.

I’m just happy with my Essentials plan. It has everything I need and it’s cheaper than its other two big competitors. I live in NYC so coverage isn’t an issue for me. I used to have MetroPCS, but we all know what happened to it.

I'm on Visible (Verizon network, including 5G C-Band and mmWave), for $35 and it's not deprioritized at all. It's truly unlimited, though I believe there is a soft cap at 50gb when using only LTE data.

Not only that, but the proliferation of carrier branded phones and anti-competitively "proprietary" VoLTE means they exclude cheap, generic unlocked phones for their customers as well. What about unlocked iPhones and Samsung? They pay the carriers to access their network, expensive "certification" (it's just a pay-to-play fee). This is illegal but the FCC is regulatory captured so they don't do anything about since they are no longer on the side of the consumer. This means that most phones brought to the US have some money going through the telecoms in one way or another. The only exception is T-Mobile, they will let you bring generic phones to their network but they don't guarantee they will work. AT&T used to do that but then shut it down when they realized it was more profitable to operate like Verizon and blacklist every device that hasn't explicitly payed them for "certification". Oh and T-Mobile doesn't care about your security either, they are getting hacked year after year, literally they got hacked during a disclosure that they were hacked last year. So another disclosure. They dont care one bit and engage in criminal negligence. If you have crypto and use T-Mobile it will be stolen. Not a matter of if, but when. Cheapest price to do SIM swaps for them on the black market too. Like $1500, compared to 3-4x the other big 2 carriers.
The only way you get a deal in the US is by having a bunch of lines bundled or you don't use much data and go prepaid. Post paid is also a ripoff with all these mystery "fees" they add on from time to time as they please (straight up bogus, literally made up fees with a name to sound like the carriers had to collect them) - go MVNO prepaid or get screwed.

However tmobile lies about premium data on essentials and requires huge downpayment no matter how good your credit is. As if you owe them something for the slightly cheaper prices even though their prices are slightly cheaper because more often then not the fall short in coverage compared to att or Verizon.
And then even if you have good credit Ave a long standing account you still have to pay down anything over 800

I&... moreThe fact that that's pretty much true in the US is what made Android brands able to get away with it for so long. However, the world as a whole is definitely different. Where I live, most people use midrange phones for 3 to 4 years, and expect to get 6 to 7 years out of a one- or two-year old flagship model. This means the vast majority of people are running heavily outdated software, and longer update support actually makes a difference. In fact, it's still far from enough, since I know a lot of people using 4/5-year-old phones, and not even necessarily flagships. The fact that getting phones with carrier plans is not the norm here also makes it worse, since families end up handing down older models to kids or grandparents to get a few more years of use out of them, exacerbating the security issue.

I tried T-Mo for a while, but the service was too unreliable. Even with a flagship phone, I would have missed texts and calls. There were issues with android to iphone picture mms. The 5G was crazy fast, but I need cellular service over internet speed.
