Anonymous, 30 Mar 2023If it did it would sale terribly if at all.
China prices are always much lower than EU one... moreThe price in the U.K is about 1300 GBP...if it would be for sale here.Their website just gets you in a loop and the "20" model doesn't seem to exist. No import,no support,no nothing. So why bother?Stay with iphone and be happy!
MindeDevill, 22 Apr 2023Why we need know about device, wich is never launch globaly? If is only china, what point? My thought exactly!
Darth Caesium, 04 Apr 2023If I was Meizu, I'd launch the Meizu 20 as is, but get rid of the Meizu Infinity and modi... moreAs it is that phone can't even be ordered in Europe. The website get's you in a loop and scouring the internet for a reseller don't help either. You sure the phone does actually exist?
Tried to order online...their website don't even show the 20 and it gets you into a loop.So that's @@@@@@@@.There's no company importing to the U.K.On top of that the prices for that particular model range from 360 GBP to 670 GBP.
"Ce n'est pas serieux...".Either Meizu are incompetent, stupid or they simply don't want to deal with clients outside of China. In this case,go @@@@ yourselves.Who needs them?
Anonymous, 01 Apr 2023Meizu still hasn't learned after 10 years...flyme sucksI think Meizu only exists to be a backup when people get sick of their buggy Xiaomi's only to switch to something lackluster but similar. But then switch back when Xiaomi releases their next "top of the line" buggy phone.
Why we need know about device, wich is never launch globaly? If is only china, what point?
If I was Meizu, I'd launch the Meizu 20 as is, but get rid of the Meizu Infinity and modify the Meizu 20 Pro. It's not at all clear whether the Infinity is the flagship phone or if the Pro is the flagship until you look at the price. Samsung has proven to everyone how having a Plus variant makes no sense when there is a regular and an Ultra version, as the S22+ sold much worse than the S22 and the S22 Ultra, and the S23+ isn't doing any better. Middle version phones are always suffering from middle sibling syndrome, where the price isn't justifiable for the extras they bring over the standard, and so as not to divert sales from the more expensive Ultra, they don't make it have much more features than the base version.
If I was Meizu, the rear cameras Meizu 20 Pro would be:
•64MP wide with PDAF, Laser AF, OIS, EIS and Quad Bayer Pixel Binning
•64MP telephoto with 5x zoom, PDAF, Laser AF, full macro capabilites, OIS, EIS and Quad Bayer Pixel Binning
•64MP ultrawide with PDAF, Laser AF, OIS, EIS and Quad Bayer Pixel Binning
•3D ToF LiDAR sensor
•Laser AF sensor
•Dual LED diamond-shaped flash
The front-facing (selfie) cameras would be:
•16MP wide with PDAF, Laser AF*, OIS and EIS
•16MP ultrawide with PDAF, Laser AF*, OIS and EIS
•3D ToF LiDAR
*=if possible, as it might make the camera cutout too crammed
Both the front and rear cameras would also be bigger, especially for the rear cameras. Also, I'd have the extra storage that the Meizu 20 Infinity has available for the Meizu 20 Pro instead, and employ an open-source Dynamic Island approach for the selfie cameras that every app on Android can utilise. I would also try to market these phones in the West and set up a US subsidiary so that I can put regular Android for the non-Chinese market rather than the Android-based FlymeOS, which the West would find too limiting.
Myragubben, 31 Mar 2023Why not the Infinity?
The Meizu 20 Infinity is the industrys very first smartphone with insta... moreThe human eye is not a very precise piece of optics, you only get high resolution in the dead center after all. Also for the size of the CMOS AF probably won't be that crucial. Personally I'd rather have bigger sensors in the back modules but I looked into it and...they're not very big.
Also strangely and suspiciously the sensor sizes are missing from the Pro's specs.
From looks alone they really do have a winner in the Infinity, yes there's a strong iPhone reference but at least they fixed the notch, somewhat. But I don't think many people are gonna buy from looks alone. Those that spend big on looks generally want the best cameras also. It's questionable if those back cameras are even flagship grade.
Not the Meizu I knew this design is horrible come on Meizu lets see you be creative once again
iPhone body,Samsung camera setup lol
Only for China. No Global international version. There are a lot better smartphones/brands
Meizu still hasn't learned after 10 years...flyme sucks
If people care about ask oppo to remaster the Oppo Find X
Cyclonite, 31 Mar 2023Meizu 20 Infinity has ridiculous price sets, and the actual view isn't as flawless as wha... moreWhy not the Infinity?
The Meizu 20 Infinity is the industrys very first smartphone with instant focus selfie shooter, made with tunable solid polymer lens TLens by poLight, the human eye bionic lens that OnePlus and Oppo are working with.
This is a technological breakthrough for tunable optics, and I will for sure go for the revolutionary Autofocusing technology just to try this out!
Looks like they have BOE screen with 1500hz PWM
S Yu, 31 Mar 2023>Meizu 20 Infinity has the same 50MP main sensor, but downgrades the ultrawide and telephot... moreCheck out the selfie-shooter! It is completely new technology for the smartphone industry. The AF-lens have been tested in Xiaomi Mitu 4Pro smartwatches, in Honeywell EX30 scan engine, in Magic Leap 2, Vuzix Shield and some webcams etc, but never in smartphones. It is insane fast AF!
Wow, amazing technological breakthrough by Meizu in the 20 Infinity!
This is the worlds first smartphone with tunable optics in the front facing camera. I just looked up poLight, the owner of the TLens used in this camera. It is quite interesting, they have solved the AutoFocus with no moving parts, no gravity impact, 1/20 of the VCM power consumption and more than 10 times faster than VCM!
Congratulations to the Meizu-team!
The selfie-cam of Meizu 20 Infinity is attached with a tunable lens called TLens.
The response time of focusing is 0,1 milliseconds! 💥 Yes you heard right. 0,1 ms!
Everything is in focus at once.
Both the front and background! 👀

>Meizu 20 Infinity has the same 50MP main sensor, but downgrades the ultrawide and telephoto to 12MP sensors.
I highly doubt if the more expensive model has downgraded cameras instead. More likely the sensors are larger.
