"A telephoto lens, in photography and cinematography, is a specific type of a long-focus lens in which the physical length of the lens is shorter than the focal length"
On the internet everyone seems to have a different definition for "telephoto", and while I found one website that claims a telephoto lens must have an 80-85mm or longer focal length, this directly contradicts the book that Wikipedia article quotes for the aforementioned definition. Moreover, many "telephoto" zoom lenses start from 70mm, and there are some that include 60mm or even 50mm.
