The SD680 is significantly more efficient than the 665 it is based on. Meanwhile, the G88 is not that much improved in performance or efficiency compared to the G80.

Shadocx, 23 Mar 2023It's just a decoration to attract customers who think a phone with a second camera is obv... moreandroid phones with single camera is a rare sight, the entire market fills up with 2mp or 0.3mp depth sensors. even worse, they made the camera bump to be larger than the sensor itself. i was thinking, whats the point of making them larger even the sensor is so damn tiny, does it get any improvement?

R4TM4NN, 24 Mar 2023Ikr. There's the G96 or even G99 and they decide to go for the G88 or the gG37. Tbh G9x series isn't supposed to be the successor of G88, but still, some company did a worse step by putting an older G85 on their phone. (yeah even though not as bad as company that putting G37 or even G35 on their phone).
