It's no less than getting a taser gunshot everytime I see or hear the word "Exynos".

AnonD-1082209, 22 Mar 2023On heavy games Exynos (high-end) is excellent as well. By experience.I agree. Only issue for Exynos is the battery drain during idle phase and the quick heating even in light tasks, also the gpu. The rest, Exynos can go hand in hand in daily usage with top Snapdragon chips.

"Its naming is very close to Apple's U1 chip which is powering its AirTag object tracker, and we assume that's not a coincidence."

W*F! Did Apple patent letter U now? U comes here for both from UWB. I think Samsung actually saw the possible similarities that's why they named it 100 instead of 1, even if it's the first model in lineup. Moreover, they tend to name their chips using hundreds and thousands.

You didnt mention the 808 and 810 (when chips moved over to 64bit), they were bad qualcomm chips lol. The 6 core 808 could outperform the 8 core 810 a lot of the time purely because the 810 would throttle so badly in almost every device.

allthose thrashing exnos, are you one's who are working in various lifecycle of development of processor ? Every iteration has some plus and minus, sometimes you win sometimes you don't. There is a reason by we have so few supercars and so many normal cars.

Pay the bucks and you faster meaner hotter SoC.

Btw this article is about a chipset for working of Tags, similar to Airtag and Tile network, nothing to do with computing power. Sharing with other OEM's will allow samsung to build a better network for Tags... you can easily locate..unlike now where the UWB is only found in flagship's top model. Last year S22 vanilla didnt had one only s22+/ultra had it.

In simpler terms it's a car add-on, without which your car will work, but it's an enhancement feature.

                                  Noobs....
