Out of the box, the Mini Capsule only shows the battery status. Its dynamic light will turn red when the phone's battery reaches 5%, blue when it's charging, and green when it's fully charged. - In other words, a totally useless feature, a marketing gimmick.

I just stated that in those times, there are multiple baked apps that have ads in MIUI. And due to this, they can lower the overall cost of the device.
Xiaomi, however, is now taking another path since they released the Mi 10 Pro, their first flagship with a ~$1000 tag.
Meanwhile they leave their lower-end devices with bootloop and motherboard issues, and unoptimized UI (where they undoubtedly started building their base). Kinda a bummer if you ask me.

I didn't had adds in my F1 (thanks to Xiaomi.eu ROM I think), but guess what I got after my first flagship killer, a Realme Gt !
And yes, it was a true successor to the F1, with it's flagship 888 chip, great 120hz AMOLED screen, ok cameras, fast 65w charge, jack, etc.
So yeah, realme did the best flagship killer phone in 2021 at true flagship price like the F1 at around 300€. Unlike the so called "flagship killer" oneplus 11 that start around 650€ (2x time the price lmao).
Now realme phones are more expensive or less appealing, like Pocophone... Also the og Gt recently received unofficial support for it's first custom ROM Lineage 20 iirc.

Sony is kn... moreNot all phones from Xiaomi have ads built in and they are toning down their ads shenanigan on newer MIUI versions, just saying. Realme is actually starting to show ads in some of its phones.
Xiaomi is also one of the OEMs that still care about audio tuning for wired headphones, through both 3.5mm and type C. Pity about them still introducing phones with Android 12 in 2023 though.

LG is an innovator albeit it being dead.
Xiaomi is known for ads in UI; also it being mostly a flagship killer before (Pocophone F1 times).
Motorola is offers a cheap and clean android experience.
Pixels are the best Google can offer with exclusive features from Android; also computational photography.
Nothing is trying to establish its name as a no-nonsense offering.
Huawei is known as the fallen giant who once surpassed Apple.
Honor is Huawei with google.
So what is Realme again?

VoNR, 24 Mar 2023Why only Dynamic Island? Why don't these noodle brands copy the optimisation of iPhone?That's what they cannot copy, the hardware and software optimization that Apple does. That's why Apple can provide longer software support on their phones (minimum of 5 years).
