I can safely say no one, literally no one in the UK will buy this.
Not for £200 anyway

SuperSpruce, 20 Mar 2023SD480+ is actually better than SD680/Helio G88 and is on par with SD835. The SD480 series of c... moreThat's true. The 480+ is a decent entry level 5G chip. But it's still vastly inferior (excluding 5G) to the Kirin 810/820 from 2019/2020.

Yes, we know it's impossible for Honor to now use kirin chipsets like they once did.. But they should at least use/find suitable alternatives as opposed to using the very very very basic G88's, SD 680/480's.

There is nothing particularly wrong with the 480+ used in this device, apart from the fact that their own x8 5G uses the same chip, alongside 6gb ram. So the Honor 70 lite is essentially a more expensive downgrade. (With the inclusion of hi res audio).

Nevertheless - I wish honor would focus more on using the plethora of mid range mediatek processors - they have such a huge range to choose from - 800u, 810, 820, 900, 920, 930, 1000, 1050, 1080, 1100 etc etc etc. These processors are in line with and exceed the Kirin 810/820 that they one used in their mid rangers.

Hanif Fikri, 20 Mar 2023Lol doesn't Make any sense, sd480+ midrange lolSD480+ is actually better than SD680/Helio G88 and is on par with SD835. The SD480 series of chipsets are underrated and underutilized because they start with a 4.

UltraHD, 20 Mar 2023I will never understand companies who make Lite versions of mid-range series. Makes no sense.Makes perfect sense to me. Phone companies need to have a budget smartphone and cutting some unessential features from the mid-range opens up new potential buyers.

I really don't understand Honor. This is basically the Honor x8 5G.. Just slightly downgraded. (6gb to 4gb ram).

The X8 5G can now be purchased for £169.99 at some places.. So it's cheaper and more powerful (ram) than the newer 70 lite.

I miss the days of the Kirin 810 & 820. They were both class leading powerful mid range chips that honor used. Now honor have resorted to using low bare bones Helio G88's, SD 680/480+'s in their mid rangers, that can't even graphically compete with the Kirin 810/820 from back in 2019/2020.

What a joke of a company.

Oki, 20 Mar 2023Honor went for best buy to worst buy phones. TFT screen on a 200£ phone?the chipset is what makes them expensive, so adding better screen would be more expensive. they had to cut corners though

v notch in 2023!!! so ancient i could not ever call that "HONOR FullView Display" its not even notchless or pop up camera type.
this would be a better phone for dedicated voice recorder. if the mic is any good like no noise suppression or any audio effects baked into video.
