So much for "savings" when Sony is still selling the 2021 Xperia 1 iii for $799. Even the 2021 Xperia 5 iii for $699. That's way less than the original price when new, and it's not a refurbished phone.

You don't have to go as far seeing Apple dropped the headphone jack since the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. They can use their "environment" claim when they want you to buy their wireless earbuds. 🤡

For example, you trade your 5 year old BMW car to BMW, get some money for it and then buy the new model.
After that, BMW will add some money on top of it. Then I will came and buy your car from BMW, but with different price than you sold it (normal).
That means we got scammed by BMW? No.
I gave BMW as example, but is the same with every other car manufacturer.
Where do you think all those like new cars in some showrooms came from?
Is the same case scenario in here, with the iPhones and Apple.
Is how the World works. Maybe some people do not want to spent time with people on bazaars, and they just want to get it over quickly. They have money (more than the average Joe anyway) and they don't want the "best of the best" deals on bazaars. They just want a reliable car/phone and start use them immediately, with minimum risks.

Is like gettin... moreTechnically in this article it is about iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Both models are not sold by Apple any more, as new phones. And you can't find them as new phones. Only the vanilla iPhone 13 is sold as new phone.
Also, refurbished phones are better than buying them in marketplace for example. I would definitely trust more a company than a random person on internet. Plus, you get 1 year warranty. Is the same like the original warranty from Apple.
Of course, I am not talking about prices. If they are high or not, that's for every person to decide.
If anything, I like that Apple are refurbishing phones all the time (even this 1.5 years old models). I wished for example, to buy a refurbished Galaxy S22 Ultra or S21 Ultra, instead of buying them from marketplace or online bazar. But, I can't find any other phones refurbished (except iPhones).

Imagine only getting up to $600 for trade-in for iPhone 13 Pro Max. By the time you bought this refurbished iPhone and traded it for a new model, you have to pay an extra $500 to $700 for a new phone. No wonder why Apple is a complete scam.

Nobody wants used or refurbished tech or anything that is new. 13 is still new. Is like getting a series X or PS5 refurbished or used. NO ONE WANTS THAT.
