S6 has at least 2 updates(in some region,3) and S7 has two updates. Meizu offers no system update for their top-tier flagship devices!
Meizu is notorious for not offering updates in China, that's one very, very important reason why people no longer buy their phones anymore.

I remember maizu beat Samsung in their performance game and exynos soc, because of the screen resolution. Same soc, same ram, same ufs and storage size, same samoled screen. Only full HD vs qhd.
