[deleted post]Yeah but it makes sense, it's the least exciting phone this year, the only new thing is the dynamic island and even that is nothing but a pretty gimmick.Combined with the still underperforming cameras and the mediocrity of modern iOS it's just really questionable

I have now a Galaxy A23 5G smartphone. And for what I need now, is enough.
Had in the past also flagship phones or high mid-range phones (Galaxy S21, iPhone 12, 13, Xiaomi 11T, 12T, to name a few). I realized that for what I used the phone, I don't need flagship phone and that I pay the money for nothing.
Also, I realized that a more entry level phone helps me getting out more. When I had more powerful smartphones, I just sat all day indoor and play/use my phone. Not very healthy behaviour.
Now, I just use my working laptop for heavy tasks. And my smartphone for basic stuff (calling, messaging, casual games).

you agree with that? GSMArena chose the Z Fold4 as the best flagship. F4 GT flagship killer, S22 ultra camera phone. Even though it's an old pick-up list. But I'm sure GSMArena will choose the S23 Ultra as the best flagship.

I also paused upon reading "innovation" being one the criteria knowing that the award was given to iPhone. I am not a hater neither a sheep most definitely. But I just think that the award could've been given to the more deserving one. Anyway, it's not even a good measure of how innovative a product is. Congrats and cheers to iPhone nevertheless.
