You got it all wrong, Android = many brands mostly chinese so no wonder if some cheapo brand tries to copy Apple. Btw keep that island it's nothing to be proud of. AND all that A copied B and they copied C is silly anyway. In a way it's part of it regardless brand, and the rest is up to lawyers.

Get this annoying display island away from Android phones, we dont need this feature at all. I rather have the LED notification light from the good old days. Apple needed it because they dont want to do fingerprint sensors and want to keep this stupid Face ID. So Apple are going to continuously hold back tech and get as much money out of their consumers

AOD can't be unique in any way, it's AOD. You either add it like so many or you don't. I'd love to hear your argument why Realme needs Dynamic Island so obviously not similar but just straight up identical to Apple's design. Why? To cover up that tiny punch hole? Like I said, it's better to just leave that small punch hole visible than create massive visual around it. Apple didn't have that luxury since they have bunch of visible sensors up there and Dynamic Island actually makes sense and does a job of covering sensors pretty well into a functioning design.

Is ones AOD somehow different than the one from someone else? It's just generic AOD like on 500 other phones. Dynamic Island is ONLY on iPhones and whether one likes it or hates it, it's absolutely unique to iPhones. Firstly because its even there as a function and secondly, because Apple had tons of sensors up there that no one else has and they decided to make better use of it instead of notch over which everyone was already whining to infinity and beyond. Your argument makes absolutely no sense at all.

Between these 3 I think widgets are the ones that should be labeled as copy, dynamic island was an apple way with what we saw back on Android, and Apple obviously did it better, changing them and using again by another oem... Well, not cool but it's zombies way to say "apple wasn't copying, others are the ones that copy apple"
