Iirc, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra also has a similar 50MP 1/1.2" main camera. Could it be the same exact sensor Honor use for the Magic5 Pro?

Nick Tegrataker, 27 Feb 2023It's not GN2, Honor's custom-made type 1/1.12 sensor is from Sony.Regardless, there has been no major advancement is sensors they all work the same way. If anything what we have seen is that software is the most important thing when it comes to smartphone cameras. One inch sensors have been disappointing tbh, hasn't lived up to expectations in general

The design is so-so. I prefer Huawei's implementation of the center-camera design. However, the specs for the price are incredible; Honor didn't cut a single corner and has served below Samsung and Apple's 1400 dollar price tag, as well as bundled 512GBs of storage at that price. We really need Honor to expand now, because this is a phone that can match Samsung in brute specs.

if you mean like a real optical zoom module on a good 1" camera sensor, going from 16 to 120mm, i too dream of that.. but we'll never get it. remember galaxy s4 zoom?

And they call Samsung an expensive company. In Europe any chinese brand still doesn't won a status as being a flagship, no matter how good their smartphones are. And for that price, I doubt that they will sell well
