grono, 09 Feb 2023What? Your setting is 13 years old and its running windows 11 along chrome?? Yes. Though it has unsupported hardware but runs Windows 11 fine. It has an old i7 CPU with 1.6GHZ clock speed. Nvidia Geforce 310M graphics. 500GB HDD. 8GB DDR3 Ram. Runs Windows 11 and 10 better than Windows 7 that it came with. And for Chrome yes it runs fine with Adblock Plus. Loads websites faster than Edge Opera and Firefox.

I have switched to Bing because of upcoming chatgpt and also they PAY YOU to use it with Microsoft rewards which can get you points for every search you do which you can use to buy gift cards.
So i just changed my phones and laptop and desktop pc default search engine to Bing and logged in to my Microsoft account to get those points just using my devices like i used to.
Google and Microsoft gets your data but with Microsoft Bing they pay you back.
Maybe if Google will add similar feature and will pay me for using their services i will switch back but for now i am pretty happy with switching.

The only thing google is good at, is at serving you ads, as long as you're not looking for ads, duckduckgo just gives the searcher what he needs straight from the get go, not 3 pages later after showing ads aDS ADS. And am not talking about those annyoing pup-up ads, but the ones with links at what google thinks that is better for you to read. Haven't ised google for more then 5 years now, and when i go back to search something i cannot find in duckduckgo, 99% it gave me no results or worse results then ducky did, that had nothing to do with what i was searching for. The moment a search engine becomes irrelevant is when it puts every user in the same pot, and forces them to read whater it wants and thinks is good for the reader and not listening to what the reader wants. The stage google right now after all this years of traking users behaviour.

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2023Edge is no way better. Chrome is faster and simpler.Actually edge is way faster then Chrome and in Enterprise enviroment is better then Chrome at doing everything. But the easiest browser to set up is firefox, their new (not that new anymore) quantum engine is darn fast too. It is also the only browser that does not want you're life on a plate.

Tried to search an image of something in Google at work because that crap is default on all workstations and I nearly lost my s**t battling with that garbage. Worst image browsing UI ever. With DDG I find anything and everything I need and it has been this way for around 5 years now. Every time I tried Google if I couldn't find something in particular, neither could Google.
