Good phones, but the lack of a MicroSD slot on the pro is scummy considering they want $/€50 for the upgrade in storage. Another 4x markup.
Blackjesus, 06 Feb 2023Poco X3 Pro is still better than this...I would honestly buy either an X3 NFC or X3 Pro over the X4 or X5 series if I could find somewhere selling them new at their original prices (around £200-£250 in UK) but I can only find second hand or refurbished and they all sell for between £300-£500. To me that shows just how popular the X3 series was that they are on the second hand market at such hugely inflated prices. If anyone knows of any company still selling these models new please let me know 👍

With MIUI for POCO having built-in ads, Xiaomi can get the price down. That is a huge win for consumers who loves to tinker with custom Android OS.

If I want the cheapest Xiaomi phone with the best performance for custom ROM flashing, the X3 Pro is still my top choice.

So the X5 is nothing more than an X4 Pro with a downgraded main camera and GG3. Honestly, stick with the X4 Pro. The X5 is just a typical cash grab.
I like Poco X5 Pro, an upgrade from the Poco X3 series in the history of the best premium mid-range from Qualcomm 7 series that includes 10-bit display.
