I agree even there devs are lazy to provide update sometimes update makes your phone worst I faced it with premium midrange moto edge 30 till the day 16.04.2023 we haven't get Android 13 update which is pathetic for 23k phone

I honestly don't know why there are so many different versions and why they couldn't come up with a coherent naming scheme.
G100 was great, and then they screwed it up with the sequel. Hard to even know what to switch to at this point.

It only blocks old apps that was programmed for old Android APIs, and that's good because many of those old APIs have been deprecated or even broken.

I have two Motorola sets which are damaged and not repairable. They even do not supply the spares. It is unfortunate.. further, they do not claim whether the glass is gorilla or not which is minus point. I purchased moto g5g when it was introduced as 5g model in Jan 2021 and they do not have updation of software for 5 g network. Then what is the use of buying it. The phone has hybrid sim and does not identify the second sim. I tried from service centres to local repair shops, but no results. I cannot sell it. The g5g has broken glass and no spares.

potato4k, 29 Jan 2023Throwaway phones that only get 1 OS updates, just like the rest of Chinese phones.Sometimes this is a GOOD thing. I have a Moto on Android 12 with 1 OS update planned. This means I won't "upgrade" to Android 14, which will block me from sideloading older apps. If I had gotten a Samsung or Pixel, I would have to deal with Google's dumb Android 14 restrictions, but not on my Moto!

2GB RAM just isn't enough these days. Motorola would have a better chance of selling the E13 with 3GB and the full Android OS onboard.

So far, G73 is the only phone I would buy, but I know that there's some more (and even better) for the same price tag.

Sony is one of the only brands that puts good screens on smartphones
I don't want any problems with either the screen or camera and they shouldn't both be fighting over the same space
