rsdt, 24 Jan 2023Fixed UNISOC chipset issue even all their chipsets were ported to 5.4 kernel something Qualcom... morecpu is very complex im ssure none in this comment box knows the number of ways security is protected in the cpu . so maybe kernel version isn't the only way of good security ( kernel is in the os as far as i know 😬 not in cpu . i have very limited knowledge about it) but they were publicly proved to have security issue and after that THEY STAYED SHADY FOR MONTHS after it . no public announcement or security patch or anything .
Yes Qualcomm and mediatek have had this kind of issue in past too . but they were very open about it . and quick to address the issue with ota updates

Moto is been lately releasing great devices in budget and mid-range segment, even in upper mid-range to flagship category. Currently using a moto, it's my probably fifth or sixth moto phone. Looking at Samsung or perhaps moto again for next phone
